The collaboration between aUPaEU and CATALISI has taken another step forward with the signing of the Agora Platform Users Agreement. The agreement officially enables CATALISI to make use of the Agora platform (designed by aUPaEU) to innovate, share and research within one of Europe’s emerging digital spaces for research collaboration. https://catalisi.widening.eu/
The aUPaEU and CATALISI projects share a commitment to make research institutions more connected, more innovative, and more capable of shaping Europe’s scientific future. By gaining access to Agora, CATALISI can enhance its reach, accelerate its research, and strengthen its contribution to the European University Initiative landscape.
How does the Agora platform benefit the CATALISI project?
- Agora will be used exclusively for research, education and innovation purposes. Agora provides CATALISI and its partners with immediate access to a broader, curated catalogue of European R&I knowledge. CATALISI can enhance its reach, accelerate its research, and strengthen its contribution to the European University Initiative landscape.
- The use of Agora will remain free of charge throughout the duration of the aUPaEU project, meaning until December 2027. This is a crucial economic advantage, allowing CATALISI to maximise its grant funding by eliminating a significant operational cost for a core service and ensure sustainability.
- Any AI tools integrated into Agora will follow the principles of the European Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act). This guarantees CATALISI that any AI-driven system used to optimise the platform’s resources operates within a robust, ethical, and legally compliant European framework.
